Plenty of Penn State football quarterbacks have generated buzz this offseason. However, one player that continues to go under the radar is 2025 recruiting class gunslinger Bekkem Kritza. With the recent addition of Troy Huhn, Kritza has been slightly lost in the shuffle. But this Nittany Lion looks to bring various skills to the table once he gets to campus. On Friday, he recently impressed a Georgia On3 analyst at the 2024 Football University Top Gun Showcase.

Bekkem Kritza has earned the nickname of “Stretch” due to his build. Standing at 6-5 185 pounds, the Boulder (Colorado) native who has transferred to Miami Central looks to continue to improve his recruiting ranking. Currently, Kritza is the No. 37 QB and the No. 74 prospect in Flordia (No. 593 nationally) according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Kritza made his commitment to Penn State last fall on November 14. Since then he has been in the lab working on perfecting his craft. While he may not be the highest-rated quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class, he has the talent to be a great quarterback in Happy Valley.

On Friday, Rusty Mansell of On3 reported that Kritza was “looking good” at the 2024 Football University Top Gun Showcase.

On Tuesday, Troy Huhn officially made his commitment to the Penn State football team. Standing at 6-3 195-pound, Huhn is a quarterback from San Marcos (California). According to On3, Huhn is the No. 6 quarterback in the 2026 class. He ranks as the No. 6 player in California and is a top-60 prospect in the country.

He recently received high praise from Charles Power the scouting director for On3.

“Troy Huhn has a big-league arm at this stage in this stage of his development,” Power said. “From watching that group of 2026 quarterbacks, I am away thinking he has some of the best arm talent of the group.”

It’s safe to say a future with Ethan Grunkemeyer (2024), Bekkem Kritza (2025), and Troy Huhn (2026) the Nittany Lions are in great hands at quarterback.
