2024 Penn State football QB commit Ethan Grunkemeyer invited to the All-American Game

For the 2024 4-star Penn State football QB commit, Ethan Grunkemeyer the past few months have been a whirlwind. After competing in the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles, CA Grunkemeyer was able to make a great impression on the recruiting experts. Now, after making his commitment to Penn State, and competing with the best quarterbacks in the country, Ethan Grunkemeyer has been invited to play in the 2024 Under Armor All-American Game.

Ethan Grunkemeyer had a major recruiting rise

After making a strong impression at the Elite 11 Finals, Ethan Grunkemeyer finished the first day of the event as the Day 1 MVP according to On3. He went on to show that the first day wasn’t a fluke by putting on a very strong performance in his Pro Day event completing 17 out of 20 passes.

All of this led Grunkemeyer to go from an unranked player on the On300 Rankings to shooting up to the 176th-best player in the country. It’s encouraging to see all of the hard work that he has put in this offseason be recognized by the national recruiting experts. On 247sports he has gone from a three-star to a four-star player as well, and he will continue to rise up the boards when he laces up his cleats this fall.

The 2024 Under Armor All-American Game

Ethan Grunkemeyer announced on his social media that he has been invited to play in the 2024 Under Armor All-American Game. He will fill one of the six quarterback roles on the roster for this event.

The question becomes will he actually play in this game, or will the date of this game conflict with his early enrollment at Penn State? Penn State football has had two quarterbacks that have recently played in this game, Michael Johnson Jr in 2019 and Sean Clifford in 2017. Regardless if Grunkemeyer plays or not, it’s still a great accolade to add to his already impressive resume.
