Future Penn State football quarterback Troy Huhn will soon compete against the nation’s top high school passers at the Elite 11 Finals. On Wednesday night, the Nittany Lions 2026 commit became the latest prospect to earn an invitation to the prestigious showcase.
Huhn was one of 17 2026 quarterbacks selected for the event as of Wednesday evening. The Mission Hills (CA) four-star excelled at the State College Elite 11 regional camp last weekend. He also recently earned a roster spot for the 2026 Under Armour All-America Game.
The Elite 11 Finals will take place in Los Angeles from June 17-19.
Now committed for nearly one year, Huhn has been a centerpiece of the Nittany Lions’ top-five recruiting class in 2026. Huhn and Nazareth (PA) four-star Peyton Falzone, who committed in April, will look to become the fourth two-quarterback class that James Franklin has recruited to Happy Valley.
“It’s a lot of fun,” Falzone said of his budding relationship with Huhn during last week’s camp. “I mean, me and Troy, it feels like we’ve been growing up together. We have so much fun together. We’re competing, but we have that type of brotherly love where we’re helping each other out, [giving] different pointers. We’re hyping each other up when the ball’s in the dirt or when it’s awesome. We’re still gonna hype each other up; just keep it up. It’s a lot of fun with him, and I’m really looking forward to being with him.”
