The Penn State football team wrapped up a successful weekend of visits this past weekend. Players stepped on campus for both official and unofficial visits. Players from the 2025 through the 2028 recruiting class were in Happy Valley. Following a camp for underclassmen, Donald Tabron, a current middle school quarterback prospect, was offered a full scholarship by James Franklin and the Nittany Lion coaching staff.

Donald Tabron is currently an 8th grader who will be rising to his freshman year of high school this fall. The young quarterback prospect is unranked due to him being in the 2028 recruiting class, a cycle that has not been ranked by any national scouts at this time.

Tabron was on campus this past weekend and after attending a Penn State football camp he received a scholarship offer. Tabron announced the news on Twitter/X on Sunday.

Penn State 2026 target visiting multiple programs in June

Dia Bell is another talented quarterback prospect that Penn State has its target on.

Bell is the No. 2 QB in the 2026 recruiting class, where he has a strong relationship with the Nittany Lion coaches including QB coach Danny O’Brien.

Steve Wiltfong of On3 announced that Bell will have a busy month ahead of himself. He will visit LSU, Flordia State, and Ohio State.

While the visits could be a concern for the Penn State football team Bell has stated how he feels he could be a “good fit at Penn State.” The quarterback position is difficult to recruit as it’s a high priority for all schools. But in the case of Bell and Tabron, the Nittany Lions are well ahead from a relationship standpoint.
