Penn State football is hoping to have two of its starters available for Saturday night’s White Out versus Washington. Battling injuries for several weeks, right tackle Anthony Donkoh is cleared, and defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton is listed as questionable on the Nittany Lions’ conference-mandated injury report released before tonight’s kickoff with the Huskies.
Dennis-Sutton suffered a lower-body injury on October 26 against Wisconsin. The junior only played five snaps in last weekend’s loss to Ohio State, according to Pro Football Focus.
“He felt a lot better this Sunday than he did the previous Sunday,” James Franklin said this week. “So, he was able to play a little bit last week. So having him back would be big.”
Franklin was not asked about Donkoh, who has been hampered by injury throughout the last month. While Nolan Rucci started in his place against the Buckeyes, Donkoh did play 38 snaps last week per PFF.
Those Nittany Lions included on the availability report for Penn State football are:
OUT:
- KJ Winston, S
- Kaden Saunders, WR
- Joey Schlaffer, TE
- Cam Wallace, RB
- Keon Wylie, LB
- Zuriah Fisher, DE
- Jake Spencer, WR
- Andrew Rappleyea, TE
- Sander Sahaydak, K
QUESTIONABLE:
- Dani Dennis-Sutton, DE
- Coziah Izzard, DT

Kaden Saunders and Keon Wylie both returned to the practice field this week, but a timetable wasn’t given for when either will suit up for the Nittany Lions on Saturdays.
Although not due to injury, the defense will also be down one interior lineman moving forward.
Friday night, reports broke that redshirt senior+ defensive tackle Hakeem Beamon had left the Penn State football program. Beamon had seen his role decrease as that of others along the defensive front, like Alonzo Ford, have increased this year.
The former four-star recruit finishes 2024 with three total tackles.
