Penn State football is set to take on Purdue later Saturday afternoon, but backup CB/WR Feyisayo Oluleye recently became the first Nittany Lion to publicly disclose his intention to enter the transfer portal this season.

Although it won’t officially open until December 9, Penn State football has already lost its Nittany Lion to the transfer portal.

Redshirt senior Feyisayo Oluleye is no longer listed on the Penn State football online roster. His name was removed from the Nittany Lions’ weekly game notes between the UCLA matchup on October 5 and the road contest at USC on October 12.

Oluleye’s social media profile indicates that he is a transfer portal wide receiver, which would make him the first Nittany Lion to publicly disclose his intention to enter the portal during the 2024 season. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

After playing wide receiver in 2023, Oluleye was listed as a cornerback on Penn State’s 2024 roster. He did not record any stats during his year and a half with the Nittany Lions.

Before arriving in State College, Oluleye spent the 2020 through 2022 seasons at Robert Morris. He caught four receptions for 37 yards for the Colonials in 2022.

From Lancaster, Feyisayo Oluleye was a three-star prospect in the class of 2020, according to On3. Oluleye played quarterback and wide receiver for Bishop McDevitt, which went 31-9 over his varsity career.

Penn State football lost eight players to the transfer portal during the spring window earlier this year.

James Franklin and the No. 4 Nittany Lions will be in action later Saturday when they travel to face Purdue in West Lafayette.
