Penn State football is adding to its 2026 recruiting class while keeping one of the commonwealth’s best prospects at home. On Friday, the Nittany Lions earned a commitment from four-star Coatesville linebacker Terry Wiggins.
Wiggins announced his decision on social media. He picked the Nittany Lions over Cincinnati, Syracuse, Kentucky, and Rutgers, among others.
Wiggins’ announcement comes off a visit to Happy Valley last weekend for the Blue-White Game. The No. 6 prospect in the state, he is the No. 15 linebacker in the 2026 recruiting class according to On3.
Wiggins is the first pickup at linebacker in the class for the Nittany Lions after signing three – LaVar Arrington II, Alex Tatsch, and Cam Smith – in 2025. With the commitment, Penn State football now has six of the top 11 recruits in the Keystone State for 2026. The Nittany Lions have the No. 9 class per On3’s national rankings.
