For the fourth time in the last month and the 20th time overall, Penn State football has added a commitment to its 2026 recruiting class. On Monday night, the Nittany Lions continued to build the future of its pash rush with a pledge from West Mecklenburg (NC) linebacker/edge Elijah Littlejohn.

Littlejohn announced his decision via On3’s Hayes Fawcett, picking the Nittany Lions over Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and NC State. He is fresh off a trip to Atlanta after visiting Happy Valley and Blacksburg in the weeks prior. The Charlotte-area product is scheduled to travel to Raleigh this upcoming weekend.

Measuring 6-3, 225 pounds, Littlejohn is the No. 24 edge and No. 236 overall prospect per 247Sports. On3 rates the newest Nittany Lion as the No. 29 linebacker in the country.

Littlejohn becomes the third linebacker commitment for the Nittany Lions since the start of May, joining four-stars Terry Wiggins and Mathieu Lamah. Penn State holds the No. 7 class in the 2026 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports.
