For the third time in the last two weeks, Penn State football has added a commitment to its 2026 recruiting class. On Tuesday afternoon, the Nittany Lions earned a pledge from Caravel Academy (DE) defensive lineman Isaac Chukwurah.
Chukwurah announced his commitment via social media.
Chukwurah is currently unranked by the major recruiting services and only picked up his Penn State offer last week. Prior to his announcement, he had official visits with Boston College and Virginia Tech set for June.
With the commitment, Chukwurah becomes the Nittany Lions’ second pledge from the state of Delaware in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Last July, the program earned a commitment from Appoquinimink wide receiver Jahsiear Rogers.
Earlier this month, the Nittany Lions landed pledges from Nazareth (PA) QB Peyton Falzone and DeMatha Catholic (MD) safety Darrell Carey.
Penn State football is now up to 12 commits in 2026. The class is ranked No. 7 per 247Sports.
