One of the final pieces of the 2025 Penn State football roster has arrived in Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions kicked off the week by updating the program’s official roster Monday, subsequently indicating that four-star running back Jabree Wallace-Coleman had joined the team.

Wallace-Coleman’s official measurements come in at 6-0, 209 pounds. He will wear No. 21 as a true freshman.

A standout at Philadelphia’s Imhotep Charter, Wallace-Coleman committed to Penn State last June after a longtime pledge to Georgia. He was the No. 24 running back in the country, Pennsylvania’s top rusher, and the No. 7 overall prospect in the state for the class of 2025 per the On3 Industry Rankings.

Wallace-Coleman arrives in Happy Valley after a prolific high school career, during which he rushed for 4,243 yards and 63 touchdowns. He holds the Imhotep record for most touchdowns in one game (six) and helped lead the Panthers to a 15-0 state championship as a junior.

The blue chip recruit follows behind fellow four-star running back Tikey Hayes, who joined the program this winter. The pair of freshmen running backs enter a room that is loaded with talent in 2025. Of course, the Nittany Lions are led by returning stars Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen, who ran for a combined 2,207 yards and 20 scores last fall.

Behind the standout seniors, Penn State features redshirt freshmen Quinton Martin and Corey Smith as well as redshirt sophomore Cam Wallace.

“It’s been really competitive, right? Everybody knows we’re going to play three running backs. So there’s a battle for that third running back,” James Franklin said this spring.

With Wallace-Coleman’s addition, Penn State football has now welcomed all the members of its 2025 Signing Day class to Happy Valley.

The final roster spot from the 2025 cycle belongs to edge rusher Daniel Jennings. In May, the Princeton (WV) four-star announced his intention to reclassify from the class of 2026 and join the Nittany Lions later this summer.

“Even worst case scenario, playing a senior year or worst case scenario, redshirting at Penn State, although he’s going to have the opportunity to come in and compete, I think they felt like, we’re going to base this decision off worst case scenario,” Franklin said earlier this month. “And him being here and being in our weight program and nutrition program and getting an extra year of school started ahead of time, I just think they [Jennings’ family] felt the value of it.”
