Approaching the end of his first week in the transfer portal, former Penn State football wide receiver Omari Evans is set to check out one of the newest additions to the Big Ten.
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Evans is set to start a visit with the Washington Huskies on Monday night. The former Nittany Lion is coming off a visit to Texas Tech this weekend. He was also expected to see Tennessee and Syracuse, according to reporting from earlier last week.
Evans played in 38 games in three seasons with Penn State football. He caught 30 passes for 564 yards and seven touchdowns during his Nittany Lion career.
This fall, he was third on the team and second among wide receivers with 415 yards. He led the receiver room with 5 touchdowns and averaged 19.8 yards a reception.
Penn State football defeated Washington 35-6 in the annual White Out game on November 9. The Nittany Lions will not face the Huskies again until 2026.
