While it’s late in the month to announce a new official visit, Nolan Davenport has done so. The 2025 recruiting class member and offensive tackle has announced that he will be in Happy Valley visiting the Penn State football team next month. As the days begin counting down, Davenport is currently favored to land with the Nittany Lions. But Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Missouri are giving chase.
Penn State football leading Big Ten foes for a rising 2025 offensive tackle
Nolan Davenport is a four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class according to On3. The 6-5 270-pound offensive tackle prospect from Massillon, Ohio has announced that he will take an official visit to Penn State. Originally, Davenport was scheduled to be in Madison visiting the Wisconsin Badgers according to 247Sports. However, he has bumped that visit a week ahead to make the trip to Happy Valley.
Davenport has made the trip to visit the Penn State football team more than any other school. He’s been to State College four times, while the next closest is Michigan State where he has taken one visit. On3 lists Davenport as the No. 10 player in Ohio and the 22nd overall offensive tackle in the 2025 cycle.
Davenport’s official visit schedule
With his announcement that he will be heading to Happy Valley, Nolan Davenport is in for a busy couple of weeks. It starts this weekend on May 31st he is slated to visit Wisconsin. Then, the following week is his Penn State visit. That will be followed by visits to Michigan State and Missouri in the weeks to follow.
It’s interesting to note that Davenport’s trips to Wisconsin and Missouri will be the first time at either campus. On3 gives the Nittany Lions the highest odds to land this offensive tackle.
