Former Penn State football wide receiver Harrison Wallace is heading to Oxford. After entering the transfer portal last Wednesday, the Nittany Lions’ leading receiver from 2024 has committed to Ole Miss.

The news was reported by On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Sunday afternoon. Since officially entering the transfer portal last week, Wallace visited with Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Louisville.

The redshirt junior was expected to visit South Carolina starting on Sunday. However, according to the reporting of On3’s Pete Nakos, that visit was canceled.

Things appeared to be trending the Rebels’ way early on Sunday. Shortly after reports of the canceled visit to South Carolina surfaced, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin took to X, where he posted an article from earlier in the week off the Gamecocks site Garnet & Cocky that discussed Wallace’s planned trip to Columbia.

Harrison Wallace is one of four scholarship receivers to leave the Penn State football program this winter. In total, the Nittany Lions lost six players from the wide receiver room to the transfer portal.

Wallace led all Nittany Lion wide receivers with 46 catches for 720 yards and four touchdowns this fall. It is the second consecutive year that Penn State has lost its top receiver to the portal after KeAndre Lambert-Smith left Happy Valley last spring.

Rated as the No. 71 available prospect in On3’s transfer portal rankings, Wallace has one year of eligibility remaining. He finishes his Penn State football career with 84 receptions, 1,221 yards, and six touchdowns.
