We now know more details regarding the annual tradition dubbed “The Greatest Show in College Football.” Revealed late Saturday night, Penn State football will take on the Washington Huskies under the Beaver Stadium lights in primetime.

The matchup will kick off at 8 p.m. and stream on Peacock, first reported by The Inside Zone’s Matt Fortuna. It is the second primetime game in Beaver Stadium this season after the Nittany Lions defeated then-No. 19 Illinois to end September.

Next week’s contest will mark only the second time the White Out game has been held in November since the event’s inception in 2004. The other occurred on November 21, 2015, a 28-16 loss to No. 12 Michigan.

Penn State football has a short but dominant history with Washington, winning all three meetings with the Huskies since 1921. The last time the two programs met was in the 2017 Fiesta Bowl, where Trace McSorley and Saquon Barkley scored two touchdowns each in a 35-28 Nittany Lions win.

After starting the year 4-2 and upsetting then-No. 10 Michigan in Seattle, Washington lost consecutive road games to Iowa and No. 13 Indiana. The Huskies (5-4, 3-3 Big Ten) most recently beat USC at home 26-21 on Saturday night.
