Penn State football had a half dozen members of its program enter the transfer portal this spring. This week, the sixth and final former Nittany Lion found his landing spot for the 2025 season.

On Friday, walk-on linebacker Beckham Dee announced his commitment to in-state FCS program Lafayette. In 2024, the Leopards went 6-6, including a 2-4 record in the Patriot League, under third-year head coach John Troxell.

Dee entered the portal on April 16. He did not appear for the Nittany Lions during his one season in Happy Valley. The Mt. Lebanon product was the coaching staff’s developmental player of the week for the USC game in October. He was one of two linebackers to transfer this spring, following redshirt sophomore Ta’Mere Robinson.
