The Nittany Lions saw tight end Khalil Dinkins at practice this week. While he missed the matchup against West Virginia, James Franklin shared that he was optimistic for Dinkins to return to the field and he was not listed on the report this morning.
“Yes, we are but to your point, he’s missed a ton of time both mentally and physically,” Franklin said. “So, we got to knock the rust off of him. So, we will see if he’s ready. As you guys have seen, he can be a weapon for us. But he’s not physically or mentally ready then we feel like we’ve got some guys like you’ve seen with Luke [Reynolds] and others that we think can fill that role.”
