Penn State football appears set to continue its success of recruiting in-state running back talent during the James Franklin era, earning the commitment of Imhotep star Jabree Wallace-Coleman. A one-time Georgia commit, Pennsylvania’s top running back in the 2025 recruiting cycle made his pledge to the Nittany Lions Saturday night while on his official visit to Happy Valley.
Wallace-Coleman’s visit and commitment come less than 36 hours after Penn State football lost four-star running back Alvin Henderson from the 2025 class, flipping to Auburn on Friday afternoon.
A four-star, Jabree Wallace-Coleman is the No. 6 prospect in the state and the No. 13 running back nationally per On3’s Industry Rankings. The Imhotep tailback ranks as the 213th overall recruit in On3’s rankings.
As a junior, Wallace-Coleman ran the ball 208 times for 1,585 yards and 28 touchdowns. He had been committed to Georgia from July 2022 until last December.
