The Penn State football team continues to build on its 2025 recruiting class. One of the more impressive turnarounds in State College has been the offensive line. We all remember how difficult the 2021 season was to run and pass block. Phil Trautwein understood that change needed to happen, and he went on a recruiting tear. It appears that the same theme is continuing in 2025, as the Nittany Lions just landed a new commitment from Owen Aliciene.
BREAKING: Penn State football earns commitment from top OT
Owen Aliciene is a three-star offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class, according to 247sports. He is from Avon, CT, and stands at 6’7 275 pounds. Now, he has officially made his commitment to the Penn State football team.
He chose the Nittany Lions over Texas A&M, Maryland, Michigan State, and several other Power Five schools.
The 2025 recruiting class
James Franklin has once again started strong with the next recruiting cycle. His 2025 class currently holds a top-10 ranking in the country. Recently, LB Alex Tatsch has received a crystal ball from Penn State and could be the next edition to the 2025 cycle. Currently, the Nittany Lions are led by DJ McClary, Kiandrea Barker, Bekkem Krizta, and several other stars. Now, that most of the 2024 recruiting class is on campus the Penn State coaching staff can focus on the next cycle.
