The Penn State football team is working towards wrapping up the 2025 recruiting class. The Nittany Lions hold 23 hard commitments in the 2025 cycle with room for a few more additions. One of those additions could be blue-chip offensive tackle Malachi Goodman.

On3 ranks Malachi Goodman as a four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. The Paramus (New Jersey) native is regarded as the No. 4 player in the state and the No. 11 offensive tackle in the 2025 cycle (No. 107 nationally). While Goodman remains uncommitted, that could see change.

He recently told Chad Simmons of On3, that he will be focusing on USC, Auburn, and Penn State football as he nears his commitment. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine lists the Nittany Lions as leaders for the four-star prospect. Penn State has a 22% chance to land Goodman.

During his recruitment, Goodman has taken three trips to Happy Valley. Including his most recent visit which counted as his official visit to Penn State on May 31. He also took official visits to Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, and USC.

Penn State football has yet to officially sign the 2025 recruiting class. They have just started making serious efforts with the 2026 recruiting class. But they also have an in-state commitment in the 2027 cycle.

On August 2, Kemon Spell of McKeesport (Pennsylvania) made his commitment official to the Penn State football team. The 2027 prospect has recently received his initial rankings from 247Sports. He initially earned the ranking of a four-star prospect, graded out with a rating of 90. Nationally, he ranks as the No. 59 overall recruit and the No. 4 running back in the cycle.

His varsity football career has started off strong as a running back. Spell accounted for rushing 579 yards and nine touchdowns as a freshman.
