The Elite 11 Finals presents the opportunity for a large amount of exposure. Not only do players have a chance to be re-evaluated by national scouts, but they also have the chance to impress college coaches and potentially gain additional offers. Malik Washington has been a Penn State football target for quite some time.

A four-star recruit according to On3, Washington is a prospect who is recognized as a top 5 player in Maryland in the 2025 recruiting class. He also ranks as a top-25 quarterback prospect in the nation. He has visited Happy Valley more than any school making the trip to State College ten times. On3 gives the Nittany Lions a 46% chance to land Washington.

Now, the talented quarterback has officially received an invite to the Elite 11 Finals. This was announced on Tuesday morning on Twitter/X.

Bekkem Kritza impresses at Elite 11 Regional

Regardless of the decision made by Washington and where he chooses to play college football, Penn State has a QB commit. Bekkem Kritza recently returned to State College, PA to showcase his skills at the Elite 11 Regionals. A video surfaced that gave Penn State fans a glimpse at the future as the Kritza to Lyrick Samuel connection was on full display.

Kirtza holds a three-star ranking on On3 but it’s his size and arm power that’s more intriguing than his ranking. He stands at 6-5 and has an incredible arm. Penn State is in great hands with the future ahead if that’s with Washington and Kritza or with Kritza himself.
