The Penn State football team continues to search for an additional wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class. After dealing with multiple misses at the position there is still hope for the Nittany Lions to add a third WR to the cycle. One of those potential additions could end up being Nae’shaun Montgomery a blue chip prospect from Florida.

Nae’shaun Montgomery is a four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. He will attend Miami Central this fall where he will be teammates with Penn State football commits Bekkem Kritza and Randy Adirika.

On Tuesday, Hayes Fawcett of On3 announced that the blue chip prospect has set his commitment date of August 25. He will choose between Florida, LSU, Alabama, Flordia State, Oregon, and Penn State.

Montgomery is a four-star prospect according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He ranks as the No. 34 prospect in Florida and the No. 34 WR in the country (No. 247 nationally).

During his official visit period, he took visits to Flordia on May 31, LSU on June 13, and Penn State on June 21.

Nae’shaun Montgomery isn’t the only name to keep in mind over the next few weeks. Penn State football has also offered Jerome Myles a five-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class.

According to 247Sports, Jerome Myles is the No. 1 player in Utah and the No. 5 wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class (No. 30 nationally).

From West Jordan (Utah) Myles stands at 6-3 215 pounds. The past few months for the five-star talent have had their fair share of ups and downs. He made his commitment to Ole Miss in April but then decided to decommit from the Rebels in June.

Now, the Nittany Lions and Marques Hagans have tossed their hat in the ring for one of the nation’s top prospects, but can they make a late run? They will have to compete against Utah, Texas A&M, and Michigan.
