The Penn State football team now has three verbal commitments from wide receivers in the 2025 recruiting class. But their work might not be done just yet. The Nittany Lions are still in the hunt for five-star prospect Jerome Myles who has recently narrowed down his recruitment. The former Ole Miss commit is now down to his final ten schools.
Jerome Myles is from West Jordan (Utah). According to 247Sports, Myles is a five-star wide receiver prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. Earlier this year he made his commitment to Ole Miss, however, in June he decommitted and reopened his recruitment.
Now, the 6-3 215-pound receiver has narrowed down his college choices. On Monday he shared that Georgia, Michigan, Auburn, Texas A&M, USC, Ohio State, Miami, LSU, Utah, and Penn State football are in his final ten schools.
On July 27, Myles took an unofficial visit to Michigan, but he has yet to make a trip to Happy Valley thus far. The Nittany Lions offered Myles a scholarship on July 20. 247Sports ranks Jerome Myles as the No. 1 player in Utah and the No. 5 wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class (No. 30 nationally).

Syndication: York Daily Record
While recruiting wide receivers had its challenges this summer, Penn State football landed a third prospect on Sunday. That’s when 2025 recruiting class member Koby Howard announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions.
Rivals ranks Koby Howard as a top-30 receiver in the 2025 recruiting cycle. The newest Nittany Lion falls outside the top 50 at the position in the eyes of On3 and 247Sports, but Howard is still a blue-chip prospect in both outlet’s aggregated recruiting rankings.
He joins Jeff Exinor and Lyrick Samuel as the other wide receiver commits for Penn State in 2025.
