Kirk Herbstreit of ESPN is one of the busiest professionals on the planet this time of year. From being part of Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football to watching his son’s high school football games. Then, being part of College Gameday and calling the best game of the week in college football. But on Saturday night he expressed his impression of Penn State football and Nittany Lion tight end Tyler Warren.

It’s safe to say that Tyler Warren caught the attention of everyone around the country with his performance at USC. Kirk Herbstreit of ESPN described it as ‘putting up a season.’ Because that stat line against USC is typically what a college tight end does in one season alone not one game.

He shared his entire thoughts on Twitter / X.

“Damn, Penn State football TE Tyler Warren put a season up on SC today. Caught 17 passes for 224 and a TD! Huge win for the Lions on the road today at the Coliseum!”

The Nittany Lions are now in their second bye week of the season, which is great timing considering their cross-country trip to USC. The emotional overtime win can take a toll on a team so having them mentally reset before playing another game will be for the best.

Penn State takes on Wisconsin on October 26 on the road with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m.
