The Penn State football team escaped the UMass game without any major injuries. But there are a few players that missed last week that the Nittany Lions need again at Ohio State. On the other hand, Ohio State had several key players out last week against Purdue. They also lost a few players to injury during the game last week as well. Who’s in? Who’s out? The official injury report has just been released for Penn State vs. Ohio State.
Injury Report: Status of key stars in Penn State – Ohio State game in question
PSU was able to get Harrison Wallace III back from injury last week against UMass. But they were without starting left guard JB Nelson. They were also missing tight end Khalil Dinkins against UMass, who has been a key piece in the running game. They are both good to go for today. Ohio State was without a star wide receiver, multiple running backs, and a defensive back. But some of those players will return to the field against the Nittany Lions. The week 8 official availability report includes:
Penn State:
Andrew Rappleyea – OUT
Ohio State:
TreVeyon Henderson – QUESTIONABLE
Emeka Egbuka- QUESTIONABLE
Denzel Burke – OUT
Arguably the most healthy Penn State team
The Nittany Lions have dealt with injuries each week this season. But today feels like the closest to full strength that they have been all season. What does that mean? There is no excuse for how the Nittany Lions perform today. James Franklin needs to have this team ready to go and make a statement. The Nittany Lions are hopeful they can secure a massive win for the program.
