Penn State football has lost another young defender to the transfer portal. First reported by Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Joseph Mupoyi is moving on from the Nittany Lions after two seasons.

Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mupoyi was a four-star edge rusher in the 2023 recruiting cycle before making the transition to the interior of the defensive line. After redshirting in his first season on campus, Mupoyi appeared in two games last fall, making one tackle.
